Mason Motorsports
Continues Relationship with Goodyear Tires
Plymouth, WI
(February 15, 2008) - The Mendeola Honda PRO Super Buggy will again
roll on Goodyear Tires for the 2008 World Series of Off Road Racing
(WSORR) season.
John Mason,
driver/co-owner of Mason Motorsports announced that “Goodyear has
agreed to fully support our racing program for the 2008 WSORR
Series,” Jack Cummings, Manager of Goodyear’s off-road racing support
program told Mason that “Goodyear was pleased to once again provide
tire support for Mason Motorsports,” adding that “John and his
immaculately prepared Mendeola Honda are a credit to the WSORR Series
and great for Goodyear’s marketing effort.”
This will mark the
sixth year that Goodyear has supported the efforts of Mason
Motorsports. “Goodyear has furnished a superior product and the
support services at the race track have been fantastic” reported
Mason. “Jack and his team have never failed us,” he added. “Even
during the tough seasons when we were doing our best to develop our
Honda powerplant, the tires and support were there when we needed
it.”
The #912 PRO Super
Buggy uses Goodyear Wrangler MTR (235/75R15) tires, in the rear, to
get all their Honda horsepower to the ground. On the front the team
runs Goodyear Wrangler Mud and Ice (205/75R15) tires to steer their
Jimco chassis through the corners.
“These are the
same tires the general public can purchase as any Goodyear Tire dealer
in North America,” comments crew chief David Mason.

Mason Motorsports and Mendeola Transaxles Team Up for 2008 WSORR
Season
SAN
DIEGO, CA (September 16, 2007) - Mendeola Transaxles is proud to
announce it will partner with Mason Motorsports and their Honda
Powered JIMCO Super Buggy for the 2008 WSORR Series. “We felt now
would be the time to announce this partnership with the upcoming
“Showdown in the Show-Me-State” season finale at the Lucas Oil
Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri” stated Mike Mendeola. “When we heard
that WSORR planned to elevate the Super Buggy Class to pro status for
2008 Season it was basically a no brainer to get involved. With our
soon to be released LQ gear box we felt Mason Motorsports would be the
ideal team to partner with for the development, testing and marketing
of the new gear box specifically designed for short course racing and
the Super Buggy Class.” -
